|
|
A 12ga English Fowler with two interchangable barrels. Both barrels are fitted to a hooked breech. Remove the barrel key and easily change the barrel. One barrel is 37" long, 12ga and has a .015 jug choke. The other is 32" long and has a .005 jug choke. The second shorter barrel has no rib. It has a super fast L&R Queen Anne lock. Steel butt plate and trigger guard and a sterling silver side plate and thumb piece. The stock is a beautiful piece of Carlo Walnut. It is for sale for $2300.00 SOLD! "This is my own personal gun and I have taken many pheasant with it using the longer barrel. I used the shorter barrel for shooting skeet. I've gotten as many as 140 shots from a single flint with this lock. A very dependable and comfortable gun to shoot. I built this gun in probably about 1990. It's had a lot of shooting and carrying afield and shows some wear but it has many lifetimes of service left". |
